Tios News - 10 ways to b'come a political kid genius

Now adays the government is looking for young, smart, talented and elite children to become the leading people in Singapore. But many find themselves no where near, young, smart, talented and elite. Not many Singaporean children can meet that expectation, well now you can! By following these 10 easy steps :)

***

1. Wake up early and punctually, remember an elite doesn't need an alarm clock, and elite must be able to wake up instinctively.

2. Get to school on time, even if it means hijacking the bus, because the bus driver is sleeping on the wheel. Remember being punctual will build up good rept with the teachers.

3. Be the first to report problems in the class, so that you can become the teacher's best pupil, in fact, report the problems before they happen!

4. Make sure you do all your homework, and help your friends do their homework with a service charge! That way, you can earn lots of rept from your fellow classmates.

5. Always have a set of the teacher's textbook, so that you can answer all the questions of which the teacher asks. That way, the teacher would think you are a genius!

6. When you get a CCA, remember to vote to become the president of that CCA or some one of high position, so that all you have to do is give out orders and others will serve your CCA for you.

7. Wear spectacles, if you already are, wear spectacles that are large and round or rectangular.

8. Paint some of your hair white so that people may think you study alot.

9. Grow leg hair so that you look manly and commanding.

10. Last of all, self-proclaim yourself as a political kid genius, chances are people may laugh at you and call you names, but you know that in their heart, they know you ARE a political kid genius.

Tios News - Mega Santa sleigh..er..ship

LONDON - Groaning with gifts and larger than any sleigh, the world's biggest container ship docked in Britain Saturday on a maiden voyage to deliver thousands of tons of Christmas presents, decorations and food across the globe.

The MS Emma Maersk, which weighs 190,400 tons, set sail from Gothenburg, Sweden, in September, collecting and delivering festive supplies in Yantian, China, Hong Kong and Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia.

Operated by a crew of 13, the vessel is the largest at sea — a quarter-mile long, 200 feet high and powered by the biggest diesel engine ever built.

Among goods packed into 11,000 containers are 2 million Christmas decorations, 12,800 MP3 players, 33,000 cocktail shakers, 168 tons of New Zealand lamb, thousands of frozen chickens and 138,000 cans of cat food, said the owner, Danish shipping company Maersk Line.

Around 50,400 tons of goods were due to be unloaded Saturday at Felixstowe port, in southern England, before the ship sails to mainland Europe to deliver 8,000 containers of cargo.

The voyage is the ship's first from China to Europe and was specifically planned to deliver Christmas stocks to shopkeepers — including a haul of electronic dinosaurs, radio-controlled cars, pinball machines and computers.

Maersk Line said the ship could travel about 200,000 miles every year — the equivalent of seven and a half trips around the world.

Most of the goods have been produced in China, which last year exported $30.5 billion worth of goods to Britain, said Caroline Lucas, a European Parliament legislator with Britain's environmentalist Green Party.

That should make Britons think twice, Lucas said. "People should see the ship as a little microcosm of all the major problems with world trade."

"The thousands of tons of goods being delivered are items which once would have been produced in Britain and Europe, but which are now made in China, where exploitation of the labor market means we cannot compete on price," Lucas told The Associated Press.

The ship's two-month voyage also highlighted concerns about the environmental impact of transporting goods and food long distances, she said.

The above was taken from no where else but, Yahoo!

Tios News - Run, run! The emos are coming!!

Finally the end of the school term, the beginning of another new beginning. Actually, it was only the beginning of the last term which i said it was the beginning of a new beginning... er.... but nvm lar, this time is really really the new beginning, haha.

Anyway, what should I talk about today... I had recently found out I had ran out of interesting things to blog about the moment the holidays begin, I mean, there is no teachers to make fun of, no students to hate, no baldness to shine light to blind us. Well I did say this blog is meant for youth and all, probably a whole lot of stuff which goes against the so called 'proper morals of life' with the 'real morals of life' of which the 'proper morals of life' is formed by mainly adults and 'real morals' are formed by...hmm... guess who, us obviously! Except... erm... if you are a parent, or above 30.

Yes, I had just recently found out that 30 was the cut off age of being a 'youth' even though you are still youth at heart, sorry! No can do...haha... you can just 'F' off, no seriously, adults over 30 seem to have a world of their own, at least those people between 25 to 30 still understands us, but those who are really 30 and above... they just, don't understand us (Any objections, comments are appreciated!)

I'm not talking about those who are 70 to 80 plus, in fact, those who are extremely old seems to understand us better. Or maybe they just act like they understand us but what I'm trying to get to is that once you are between 30 to 70, you are either:

- A father who is working hard to keep the money flowing
- A father who is working hard to get laid (By an outsider woman)
- A mother who is working hard in the same company as the father to make sure he doesn't cheat on her
- A mother who is working hard in another company to act like she is working hard to keep the money flowing where as actually she is working hard to get laid
- A mother working hard at home to act like she is looking after the family in order to get money and jewelery from her husband
- A mother working hard at home to act like she is looking after the family where as actually all she does is play mahjong

What I'm trying to say is that people in that range are working hard, but not working hard for those people who need their work but working for themselves. Heck, if you want to work so hard you shouldn't have made any babies at all right??

I'm not saying all parents are like that, there are a handful of parents who are real parents. Who really love their children more than anything else, sometimes even more than their own spouses. But sadly almost half of that handful of parents work hard, but they can't just do anything about their children, cause... they just don't know how to do it right...

Now about the title, erm, this is kinda an emotional thing (duh, it has the word 'emo') but, yeah, I'm not gonna talk about it....

Well...

Do you know if you close your eyes and count to 10 at 4 in the morning you will see a ghost, well, that depends if you can wake up that early, it is a school holiday you know!!

Tios News - Gone be the haze

I've seen many blogs pop up, talking about haze, since so many of them had written about the haze, I shall write about the end of the haze, haha (It's funny so laugh). Anyay, the PSI finally dropped yesterday and the night before I think, due to the rain. The news said PSI level wouldn't go up for a while so lets hope it stays that way. For a long time (A few weeks) I couldn't see Bedok Resevoir which is suppose to be opposite my house and Tampinese seem to have disappeared (Yes, that's how far my horizon is, wish you can stay here right?), anyway the news said we couldn't see 1 km away because of the thickening of the haze or something like that? Well I couldn't see the lift lobby from my house! So now you know how much worse the haze is here in Bedok than other places (Excluding Downtown, that place really kana teh worse).

The haze also made lots of people sick, both my mum and brother fell ill and lots of students found a great excuse to be sick (yeah!). Last week, friday I think, a record number of 3/4 of the class didn't come to school, so now you know how many people were sick on that day...

Well lets move on, away from the haze. Yesterday marked the end of the school term again, and also the beginning of the year end holidays. There was this termometer check in school that day. Actually there was suppose to be one the day before but almost 3/4 of the entire school did not bring their termometers, so Lak (Principal) said, "fine, tommorow you don't bring your termometers you all have to pay 2 dollars."

Guess what?

The very next day which was yesterday, the school made 1 thousand dollars. Guess how many people didn't bring their termometers? 500 STUDENTS

500 students didn't bring their termometers, you should have seen the looks on lak's face, like he going to kana stroke.

And it's not just 500 students, the school stocked up only 500 termometers to sell and they were sold out and still there were plenty of others who did not have termometers.

Amazing eh?

Tios News - Me <3 Jap Songs

I don't know why but the rythm for every song seems to sync nicely with my header (swee right?) Anyway, I love Jap Songs, or not exactly love lah but it's just a whole different spectrum from ordinary english AND chinese songs. Other than the fact that they add some english to it like how CHINESE songs usually are. Well I can't think of what to write and I felt that it's about time I should seriously consider not writing political crap against teachers and parents especially TEACHERS (F'k ALL OF YOU, except for the good ones, you know who you are :) No, not you Yeo Lan.... definately not you........).

But, *sigh* I just can't control myself.....

Today our principle just released this royal message to us written on the royal manuscript provided by the royal used printing papers company. All approximately one thousand of us stared at this shinning gold piece of paper, at the mavelous underside where ink residue had been left behind. Staring at the folded corner and the spilt coffee mark in the morning sun.

He read, "From next year on wards, you all will have to buy a pair of school shoes. No one is allowed to where the white shoes of which you are wearing now, this is to ensure that no one comes in bright yellow addidas or maroon colored shoes."

The point is...........

No one is seriously gonna where those freaking school shoes.

Well enough about that, time for random stuff shall we??

1. I discovered that I just love the "enter" button on my key board, as it helps provide a longer post. Just keep pressing and you will soon find out your post will go on forever! Try it!!

2. I'm deciding between and Xbox 360 and a PlayStation 2 or 3 if I could hold my urge to buy one till next year. But after staring a couple of minutes at my result, I'm beginning to feel guilty about wanting to buy it, wouldn't you?

3. Haze-makers = Indonesians (laugh)

4. That I could bot in robot rage, the multiplayer flash games on miniclip! Try it! All you need to do is click on the little "e" sign at the bottom of your desktop bar TWICE, not ONCE but TWICE!!!

5. That taking photos with a memory card in your phone is much better than without one, why?? Because you can take more pictures of course!

6. I realized that the more I write completely pointless stuff, the more you will feel bored and angry and wouldn't want to come back any more, but too bad, if you don't come back to this blog every day at this current time, you will be cursed with bad relationship and you will be plauge with SARS, bird flu, stomach flu, AIDS, HIV, Syphillis and every other disease you can think of.

PLUS

Your grandma will be knocked down by a five tuner along Tenah Merah (Provided you have a grandma, if not the next oldest living person of which is related to you), your mum will sleep with three other man and one of those three other man will be your dads boss of which case his boss is a woman ACTUALLY, and her husband conincidently will have sexual intercourse with your form teacher who in turn will give you three slaps for absolutely nothing, then you will come back to this blog, begging for mercy, WELL TOO BAD, piss off!!!

ONE MORE THING

You have five minutes to tell 5 people about this blog :) Happy suffering!!!

Tios News - Blogging Now

I've been thinking about this:

What is blogging?

And many a times I have been searching all around the web to search on the correct defination of blogging and the main reason why people want to blog. Well the main reason and the still existing reason is that people want to express themselves, their daily lives. In an alternate universe where they can get the pain and suffering of daily life off their chest. Or a place where they can store unforgetable memories in pictures, videos and words. Weblogs originally started off as an online journal, an electronic diary of which you can access from any internet connection all over the world. Something of which cannot be destroyed unless the web administrator decides to close down the web. If not, web diaries are indestructable.

To me blogging is more than that.

Blogging is an expanding new world just as how the universe is perpetually expanding. Streching out far and wide into areas never thought off. Blogging started off as an online journal but now it can be use for home businesses, coporate administration, mind me if some words are spelled wrongly, but this are only the tip of the ice berg. Blog is a new pathway, a whole new opening which could lead us to more than just a large some of money.

Blogs are like websites, but better. When you create one there is not much you can loose. Since all blogs are free, like I said before, what's the point of paying money to get your website hosted and not have your site viewed? Why not make a free blog and not have your site viewed? The difference is in the money spent to me. Blogspot is virtually free, and it will remain free, I hope.

One fact about blogs which had never been really discussed before is the design you put in the blog. Think of this, uploading stuff onto the blog is free, the blog domain is free and codes for all the other funny stuff you put on the blog is free and so is your design!! Blogs are the one thing young designers can use as a canvas, and a really good canvas in deed.

Blogs give you this canvas, a header, footer, sidebar, background and lastly the words, pictures or videos you want to put in. All you have to do is customize. And the greatest thing is that customizing is so easy now adays you can make anything your masterpiece.

Blogs can be for art, blogs can be for buisness, blogs can be for families, blogs can be for communication, blogs can make you famous, blogs can get you on TV, blogs can tell your love ones what you really feel...

...so what are you doing now??

Get blogging!!!

Tios News - Innovationation

Today is one of those days where I have more than one thing on my mind, therefore, as always, I shall seperate two subjects into two post. So it's like, kill two birds, but with two stones...

I had been wanting to go to this, Innovationation (Pronounced as: Innovation Nation) ever since I got that square piece of cardboard with nice looking designs on it which says "Innovationation". Get it?? Well, the exhibition was about the past, present, and future of Infocomm (Dunno whether spell correct or anot). Like how phones used to be those "twist, twist thing" than got the operator on the other end. And now phone is got the 3G and than phones that will be powered by "fuel cell" in the future.

I was thinking the exhibition was going to be all about designing and artistic stuff which you can do with "New Mechanism" but sadly I was proofed wrong. The exhibition was more about... I dunno, just nothing that is innovative. I'm not saying the exhibition was bad, but all this stuff we could easily find on the net (Internet).

Last but not least, Me... Flying Dutchman... My Bro

All photos were taken by my brother, all credits to him for this one!!! Thanks to him I wouldn't need to embarrass myself with lousy phototaking skills, oh the last one was by my mum.

To all the peeps who didn't go to the exhibition... you've been OWNED!!!

Tios News - Thank God For Marking Day

Hmm, well, I can't think of how to begin as most of the pressure on me has been lifted off by the mere fact that the exams are over. I'm weightless, so to say. Well I figured I wouldn't anything to do as I usually.... don't have anything to do, so I went back to Habbo. I had a long history there, if you do not know what is habbo you can get there through here :)

http://www.habbo.com.sg/

Anyway, I had a long history of a lot of different rooms, of which I demolished and rebuild alot and after all those years of building I found out that the game isn't as interesting anymore and it cost lots of money too. Well, being all grown up that I am now (hehe) I figured I can put the game to good use. So I created Haro Club, another spin off from the Vengenre Series. Well Haro Club only uses the names of places like Jileenis and characters like Cleft and Karnis but saving the world is up to the player himself.

YES! The Player himself! Haro Club is a whole new idea I thought up in thirty-two seconds on how I could use Habbo and all the furni I had in the game to promote Vengenre Generation and how Vengenre Generation can promote my habbo too, haha!

Well, if you want to know more about Haro Club search for "Unexplainable" which is my username of simply search "Haro Club"

More Info on Haro Club will be posted here soon, if Haro Club is succesful I might be making a label just for Haro Club!

PS: Haro Club has nothing to do with the Haro Crusaders

Other things which had been going on the last thirty-two hours were, I build a website in four hours for a friend of mine who I shall refer to as "The Re-ennacment" pretty cool name, go check his site out http://reenactment-markyc.blogspot.com/

I also figured that blogs are around three to five times more easier than making a web and no I don't intend to make a website anytime soon. Blog has sure help alot and so have blogspot, especially blogspot, thanks to you guys I have learned a new language, html!

Mohammad Abdooh

Mohammad Abdooh is a lung cancer patient and in the last moments of his life he as dedicated to us. In hope that people will notice Life Before Death and what it really is like. This is a bold step for a simple Singaporean in something which prompts our heart often but we often set aside. Death is an inevitable thing, this man, shows us what it is like.

Well, I don't really know if he had passed away yet, but I found this site and it really speaks to me, how meaningful it is to share the last few days of your life with the world. If I could, I would do the same, death is something which could come anytime, at any place in anyway.

To Mohammad, God bless!

Below will be the original introduction taken from the website www.lifebeforedeath.org.sg

For the most part of our lives, we do not care to think much about death. We are protected by the busyness of our lives, and the idea that we are somehow exempt from death until we reach an advanced age, contact a terminal illness, meet with an accident… or until we face the demise of a loved one. Death points us to the unpredictability and fragility of life - the physical and emotional suffering one undergoes when one faces death can be daunting and despairing. Yet one must not lose hope. No one should have to face the end of life alone, without any support. A dignified and pain-free death is possible, in more ways than one.

A project commissioned by the Singapore Hospice Council and the Lien Foundation, “Last days of Mohammad Abdooh” aims to provoke us into thinking about end of life issues, and to raise awareness and understanding of the needs of people living with terminal diagnosis and their families. Filmed mostly in Mohammad’s home, this documentary consists of bi-monthly episodes that chronicles Mohammad’s final journey towards death, and reveals the amazing psyche of the resilient patient fighting his cancer, the tender love that underpins his life, and most of all, it shows us the other side of hospice we are oft times unaware of – the unconditional love and care that has been extended to Mohammad’s family during those trying times.

Mohammad has dedicated his last days to us, in the hope that his story will not only transcend all divide among humanity, but it is a story that will inspire us when life delivers a punch too many. Mohammad is an evangelist for the living, the grieving, and the dying. From Mohammad, we learn that we may never know how our story ends, but we know that love endures all the way to the end.

Hora Crusaders - Picture Mystery

Christine looked closer at the picture and was sure something had caught her eye for a moment but it seem to have disappeared the moment she shifted the focus of her eyes like as if she was trapped in an illusion. She looked deeper into the painting. The earth crushed between three scale-covered claws, how the shattering earth was painted in so much detail, than she finally saw it, the glimps of light. Beneath the shadow of the claw. The little bit of gold paint which was darkened by the shadow of the claw seemed to have purposefully misguided her trail of sight. But there it was. A golden ring round the center of the three fingers, and on it was imprinted with the mark "G".

"There..." Christine pointed, her index finger almost touching the painting.

"Grandevour," Ven said, "This picture represents evil. Each of these claws must symbolize someone like Grandevour."

But the more they looked at it, the more they felt there was nothing left to the picture. The other two claws had rings too, but they did not bear any sign. Only the corners of the letters which were embedded on them.

"Hold on, isn't it wierd?" Drake spoke.

"What is it?" Eve asked.

"This claw only has three fingers. By right if you would want to crush something you would require a fourth finger considering this claw to belong to a dragon."

"Well, we will just have to defeat the other two to find out the last one." Eve answered.

"But wait," Christine said, "You mean Grandevour is not the only one?"

"I'm afraid so." Ven said as he moved on to the picture across the room. There it was a different sight, the painting was still bore the image of Draearth but four rings intersecting each other wore themselves around the planet, emitting light.

"Four rings of light. Four guardians." Eve explained.

"How could I not have seen this, it represents us." Drake said.

"Four of which guards the earth and four of which destroys the earth." Ven thought, "By right our initials should be the ones on the claws and Traudaures' team on the guardian rings. But it doesn't seem so."

"Ven, it is not our fault darkness is still around." Drake explained.

"But it's up to us to end it!" Ven shouted angrily as he jabbed his fist into the painting.

The impact made the mansion shake and the dust collected on all the paintings to fall off all at the same time causing a slight mist in the room. But Ven saw something different. Right before him the rings in the painting moved and not only that the rings had blocked Ven's fist from hitting Draearth.

"There's no way." Ven said as he stared at the rings. The painting had come alive and it was standing out of the picture, blocking Ven's fist.

He raised his other hand, and touched the surface of the painting. It was smooth, the rest of the picture other than the rings was just a painting but the moment he tried to touch Draearth, the rings begun to move again.

"I get it!" Ven said, he stepped away from the picture and short a beam of energy towards the picture opposite of the one he was standing next to. Immediately the painting reacted as if it was really Draearth. A thick smoke of sand and debree covered the painting.

He looked back at the painting he was facing and there too was debree. Christine, Drake and Eve looked in shock at what had happen. Ven held out his hand towards the painting and tried to grab earth. The rings sheilded his hand from the planet. He looked back at the planet on the other side and to his amazement the rings emerged on the otherside and was doing the same to the claw.

Christine looked at the painting with utter amazement. The two pictures were connected and whatever Ven did to one picture it will happen in the other.

The paintings are connected... one protects and the other destroys. Christine thought, she looked deeper into the painting once more and realized what it meant.

"Ven push as hard as you can!" Christine shouted.

"Drake, Eve, there's something beneath this claw which the rings wants to protect." Christine explained.

"You mean this is like some safe?" Drake asked.

Christine nodded and grabbed hold of the claw. Drake and Eve did the same. As Ven tried hard to grab hold of the rings, the others tried to pull the claw off, pulling Ven's hand along with it.

"It's not working!" Ven shouted as the ring started to spin quickly, not letting him grab on to it at all.

"Don't tell me..." Eve said, she suddenly let go of the claw and ran out of the mansion. She saw what she had expected but did not believe it would be happening. She looked into the sky and there it was, the guardian rings and the claw.

"How in the world?" Eve said to herself in amazement. But she noticed that there were only two rings protecting Draearth.

She ran back into the mansion.

"Eve, what happened? What did you see?" Drake asked.

"The rings. You and Christine, there are only two rings protecting Draearth." Eve explained.

"You mean these things are really happening?" Ven shouted across the room.

"Yes! It will take four rings in order to pull away the ring." Eve explained.

"But we can't, if Ven looses contact with the Rings the rings would have no reason to protect and it will transform back into a painting. Same as the claw." Christine said.

"I know what to do." Ven said, "Shibhayon!"

Suddenly the huge quake rocked the mansion and even more dust fell from the walls and the ceiling.

"I get it! Shibhayon is the dragon." Eve explained.

The dragon flew through the front door and evaporated into Ven's body, suddenly a great aura came over the house and suddenly another Ven appeared.

"Don't worry, Shibhayon has to take human form in order to grab hold of the rings." Ven explained, "Shibhayon is part of me and the painting only reacts to one of us. Only I have the power to do this. So I guess, it's one of those clues set up by Karnis again."

Together, Ven, Christine, Eve and Drake grabbed hold of the claw and finally they pulled it off, together with the rings. Suddenly a great light shone through the house revealling something even more miraculous.

Suddenly a great light shone through the house revealling something even more miraculous

Hora Crusaders - Intro

After the defeat of Grandevour, new darkness started to rise all over Draearth. How can this be? Is probably the only question the four had been asking themselves. The world had become so dark that the sky did not let in any light.

"The legend... It's suppose to end... what happened?" Christine asked as the four stood at the front gates of the Spheres Residence.

Through the dark sky only the silver lining of the distorted sun could be seen. They knew it was morning but the darkness would just not go away. The four were terribly confused and all they could do was wait.

"What ever it may be, we should go inside." Drake suggested as the four of them entered the gates to the Spheres Residence once more, after years of battle.

The mansion was just as how Ven, Christine and Drake had left it. The four marble pillars stood at the four corners of the room as they had left it, ringed with gold and gems. Countless pictures hung on the walls and the floor covered with a red carpet which laid across the room. The only thing which had changed was the layer of dust which had covered everything ever since they had left.

There was no more war, no more army. Grandevour was defeated and all the province were a whole once again after fifteen years of seperation under the rule of Cleft. Hersiladis had already passed away during the war and so did Normolm. The only ones left were Sofia, Nafale, Henry, Adrian, Andrew and Marie of which had become royals when Cleft took over as ruler over all of Tios. Everything was settled and Tios had been delivered from war and so has the rest of Draearth been delivered from war but the world was still covered in darkness.

The four had decided to return back to the mansion as it was the first place they had met, thinking that they could find a clue there. They were sent by the orders of Cleft.

Christine found her way to the set of chairs in the middle of the room and she sat, "There must be something here, there must be something missing from the prophecy."

"Yeah, we know, but just what is it?" Drake said as he walked along the walls inspecting every picture for something out of the ordinary.

"The pictures... you know every single one of them right?" Ven asked Drake as he searched along the other end of the hallway his voice echoing.

"Well all these pictures were here even before I was born, I have no way of explaining them but I could tell whether one is out of place." Drake answered.

"You could try looking for something which gives off a certain meaning." Eve said as she sat down with Christine.

"A meaning?" Drake thought for a while, "What type of meaning?"

"Every picture tells a meaning, a painting can speak a thousand more words than a book." Christine explained, "What we should be looking for should do with Darkness, like the dark sky or something..."

"I've found it!" Ven yelled.

Ven pointed to a picture. The one picture which was out of place most of all. Amongst all the paintings of nature and famous people was a painting of death, not only death but Draearth crushed by the claws of darkness.

"This is it, but what does it mean?" Eve thought to herself.

"Wait... I get it now." Drake said, he pointed to the picture and with his index finger he pointed upwards to the ceiling and without changing the position of his finger he pointed to a picture behind him, right opposite the picture which was before him.

"This picture.... it was put amongst all the good picture, but obviously you could see this picture is rather disturbing." Drake explained, "But all those pictures on the other side, they are all disturbing pictures..."

"Someone switched the pictures?" Ven asked.

"I didn't know when, it must have been switched before we left." Drake said. He stared at the painting, it somehow gave off an awful aura, a feeling that a greater evil had come upon them. That they were once again fitted into another tight situation.

"But what does this mean?" Christine asked.

"This simply means, when there is good there is evil, when there is evil there is good. The darkness which surrounds us isn't going to give up a fight so easily." Eve explained.

Welcome to the all new Second Generation, the new generation brings you a new style and a whole new look. Just when everyone thought the war was over, the larger war had just begun. Now the four have to travel northwards where they could finally flee from not only Tios, but from Draearth itself.

The legend continues...

Tios News - Famous School

It's been quite a while since I last posted something, about one week. Well, nothing exciting had been taking place, since everyone is gearing up for the exams. Packing up all our courage before we make the "roller-coaster" fall into an exam paper we can never really be prepared for.

Well, what I'm gonna talk about today happened last wednesday, a day before my last post, I kinda forgot to write this down, but what the heck, enjoy!

***

Me: Er.... Uncle, St Patrick's School please..

Taxi Driver: Ok..ok, you want to go by Frankel or wat?

Me: Ar... Frankel lah..

Taxi Driver: Waah boy you veri rich ar, take taxi to school...

Me: No lah uncle, I late for school

Taxi Driver: Oh... I see.... I see...

(silence for a moment)

Taxi Driver: Boy ar, you from de, de sain paterik skool, de boi pok the fok in de other boi eye wan ar??

Me: No! No! No! Uncle, not the eye la, the head only

Taxi Driver: Oh... I see.... I see...

***

So one thing I learn from this is that taxi drivers are like mosqitoes (dunno spell correct anot) spreading dengue. The second thing I learn is that if a mercedes cab and a normal cab comes at the same time, just dont raise your hand, it will safe you 30 cents.

I had learned my lesson well, dont be late for school, especially if some one from your school kana pok in the head with a fork.

But, for the people (mosqitoes) spreading the news around about my school. Get this clear, the situation had been long solved and because those two boys' parents were good friends, they rather just leave the matter to rest. So, stop being mosqitoes, because your bacteria doesn't work anymore :)

And for the stupider ones, please don't go around asking any tom, dick and harry, wether they kana poke in the head with a fork before, because chances are they never kana before...

.... unless... you want to kana?

Tios News - Whose Side?

Lately I'd been asked whose side was I on between parents verses teenager and in some cases kids too. Though my side shows alot of bad things about parents, I would say I am neutral. What I write are just random thoughts and I'm just beginning to understand the relationship between parents and their kids.

But if you would ask me whose side am I on, not based on this blog, I would say I am on the kids' side. I'm not saying all parents are evil and deserve to die or anything. But I could say that almost all parents are corrupted and most of them don't even know they are. Why? Very simple, because just like kids, parents believe everything on the TV.

Parents are forced to believe they can't handle their own children, thus, they start over-burdening them. And when their children start to fight back, all they can say is, "How dare you speak to me like that, I am your mother/father!" or they will use another standard line, "I gave birth to you/I am your father, I know what is best for you!"

I don't believe if you scold your children, give them tuition and assesments will qualify parents as parents. In fact, I believe that if parents can't teach their own children, their not qualified as parents at all.

But that would mean 3/4 of all parents in the world are not qualified as a parent right??

Well, it is not that hard to be a parent really. It's just that because of media, parents miss the point of being a parent.

Now, I know I had explained this before, but it doesn't hurt to explain it again. Because parents just can't get it into their thick skull how easy it is to be a qualified parent.

The answer is simple....

The answer is

LOVE

Tios News - Art

This should probably be the second time I post a Youtube video as my Tios News post. Well this short video is created by me and it features my very own creation, "Alot Of Pictures In One Canvas"

I did this during school hours today, it took around six periods so it should be approximately 3 hours. Well, I had nothing to do didn't I? And the teacher told us to revise, so what better thing to revise on than art?

See if you can spot them all! Let your imagination run wild!!

Below are pictures of the art piece with descrpition on every interesting thing that is on it!

This is the full picture of the "Alot Of Pictures In One Canvas"
Basically this picture, or this set of pictures actually symblozies what I feel about Singapore the Island home of which 4 million people live in

The Dice And The Esplanade
This picture represents our current achievement and what we will be having in the future. The Dice represents the Casino which we will soon be having in Singapore, siting on a cloud which held up by the many pillars of dreams of Singaporeans. The Esplanade is represented as 2 easter eggs as the Esplanade is where new dreams are born.

Closed Doors
The closed doors roughly represents how some Singaporeans are feeling right now. They feel that the government is "closing" their doors on locals and opening up our doors to foreigners. But the recent national day rally had displaced all that. Prime Minster Mr Lee Hsien Loong had already told us that locals are much needed too and will never be overtaken by foreigners. Because without locals Singapore wouldn't be Singapore!

The Lightning Coconut Tree
The lightning clearly shows the dark times of Singapore, but it also shows that light will always shine through the darkness. Lightning as in PAP. It also resembles a coconut tree which can be found all over the east coast.

Waterfall
Well, this is one of the few unclear pictures, if you look closely you should see a waterfall as the sideburn of the face. There isn't any specific symbolism for this one but it would be nice to believe it is the waterfall of dreams, countless dreams falling from the clouds and turning into reality here on earth.

4D
For many Singaporean adults, 4D is known as the one true happiness and a God given shortcut to life.

Love
Ah, the sunset, the dream of every Singaporean teenager, as we do not have winter, autumm or spring in Singapore and teenagers are not allowed in clubs and pubs, the sunset is as romantic as it can get. The best places are usally East Coast or Bedok Resevior

Welcome To Mad Town
Last but not least, welcome to mad town. To me, Singapore really is a mad town. A mad town full of people with mad dreams. This is Singapore in its reality, everyone is dreaming big, you have no idea how crazy it is to dream big in such a small island.

Well that's all the pictures I have, there is definately more than these pictures in the art piece which I made, all you need to do is open your eyes and imagine!
